Hi, I’m the mum behind Supported Lactation. My passion for supporting families through their feeding journeys comes from personal experience — and plenty of it.

My firstborn and I had a rocky start to breastfeeding, facing just about every challenge under the sun. With incredible lactation support and sheer determination, we made it to 22 months. My second daughter was born with a large hole in her heart and had open-heart surgery at 15 months. Breastfeeding was our only constant through hospital stays and uncertainty — and when it was time to wean, I had to gently lead her through it myself.

After living through two difficult but deeply meaningful feeding journeys, I realised how much of a difference the right support can make. I began volunteering with our local milk bank and quickly discovered a deep passion for human milk feeding and helping families navigate the challenges that come with it.

I believe every family deserves to feel supported — whether you're breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, or doing something entirely your own. We often hear “it takes a village,” and for many, lactation support is a vital part of that village.

Now, through Supported Lactation, I offer down-to-earth guidance, practical tools, and carefully chosen products I trust. It’s a privilege to be part of your journey — and I’d love to help you reach your feeding goals, whatever they may be.
